The AI Operating System for Roofing
An AI operating system for roofing is one platform where the AI does real work: it turns photos into quotes, answers the phone, schedules crews, collects payment, and runs the follow-up that wins the jobs you would otherwise lose. OptimizeIt is that system, built as a dedicated roofing edition rather than a generic tool with your trade's name pasted on.
What "AI operating system" means for roofing
Most software for roofing businesses stores information and waits. An operating system runs the business: every job moves from first call to paid invoice inside one system, and the AI does work at each step instead of leaving it on your plate. The test is simple. If the software cannot produce a quote, answer a call, or chase an unpaid invoice without you, it is a filing cabinet, not an operating system.
- AI quoting: photos and job details become a priced, branded quote you approve before it sends
- AI call handling: missed and after-hours calls get answered, qualified, and booked
- One record per customer: quotes, jobs, messages, invoices, and reviews in one place
- Automated follow-up: quotes get chased, reviews get asked for, repeat work gets rebooked
What it replaces
The typical roofing operation runs on a quoting app, a separate answering service, a spreadsheet doing CRM duty, a whiteboard schedule, and an invoicing tool that never talks to any of them. Every handoff between those tools is a place where a lead dies or a number gets retyped wrong. An operating system removes the handoffs, which is where most of the time savings actually come from.
AI Drone + Satellite Roof Vision: the AI built for roofing
Measures roofs from drone or satellite imagery — squares, pitch, ridge, hip, valley, eave, rake, plus waste %.
- Squares + pitch + waste %
- Ridge / valley / hip / eave
- Xactimate-aligned export
- Insurance supplement packets
Calls answered, jobs booked, follow-up done
OptimizeIt gives your business a dedicated phone line, and the AI voice agent can answer, qualify, and book jobs when you and your crew are on a roof, under a sink, or done for the day. Every call becomes a structured lead with contact details and job context. From there, automated follow-up chases open quotes, asks for the review after the job closes, and keeps your customer list warm for repeat work.
How to evaluate an AI operating system for roofing
Cut through the AI label with four questions. Does the AI produce a real quote from real job inputs, or just draft an email? Does it answer your phone and book work, or just transcribe voicemail? Is pricing flat as your crew grows, or does every hire raise your software bill? And does a job flow from first contact to paid invoice without anyone retyping data between tools? OptimizeIt is built to answer yes to all four, and a demo is the fastest way to check that claim against your own jobs.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI operating system for roofing?
It is one platform that runs a roofing business end to end, with AI doing real work at each step: turning job details and photos into quotes, answering and booking calls, scheduling crews, invoicing, and running follow-up. The difference from ordinary software is that the system acts instead of just storing records.
How is this different from regular roofing software?
Regular roofing software is a set of tools you operate: you write the quote, you return the missed call, you remember the follow-up. An operating system does that work itself and brings the pieces into one place, so nothing gets lost between a quoting app, an answering service, and a spreadsheet.
What does OptimizeIt include for roofing businesses?
The Roofing edition includes AI Drone + Satellite Roof Vision, AI quoting from photos and job details, a CRM with one record per customer, scheduling, invoicing and payments, a business phone line with an AI voice agent option, and automated quote follow-up plus review requests. See the Roofing page for the full feature rundown.
How do I get started?
Book a demo or start free and run one real job through the system. Bring a recent quote and compare it against what the AI produces from the same inputs. Pricing is flat by plan rather than per seat, so a growing crew does not raise your bill; the pricing page has current plans.
How does OptimizeIt pricing compare to AccuLynx for a 6-crew residential roofing company?
AccuLynx publishes nothing on its own /pricing page. Third-party sources (RooferBase, Toricent Labs) report Essential at roughly $55/user, Professional $70/user, Elite $85/user, with a $250/month plan minimum. For a 6-crew shop running 8 office and field users on Professional, you're looking at about $560/month or $6,720/year, and that's before EagleView report fees or any add-ons. OptimizeIt Pro at $239/month annual ($2,868/year) gives you 6 seats, 6,000 AI credits, 300 voice minutes, and the 24/7 AI Voice Agent for inbound and outbound calls. If you need more seats, they're $25/month flat at every tier. Same 8-user team on Pro plus 2 extra seats comes out to $289/month or $3,468/year. That's roughly half of AccuLynx Professional at the comparable headcount, and the 24/7 AI Voice Agent is included rather than an add-on. The honest tradeoff. AccuLynx has deeper distributor integrations (ABC Supply, SRS, QXO) so if material ordering through your CRM is the workflow you can't break, AccuLynx wins that comparison. AccuLynx also has 10,000+ contractors of pattern data, which matters for the reporting depth. OptimizeIt does not currently match AccuLynx's native supplier order workflow, and we're upfront about that on the /roofing page. Where OptimizeIt is the better economic call: shops that are spending 4-6 hours a week routing after-hours storm calls to voicemail, shops that want transparent month-to-month pricing without a sales cycle to find out what they'd pay, and shops that don't need the deep distributor integration because they order materials directly from their supplier rep anyway. 14-day free trial on any paid plan, no credit card, and migration is white-glove if you're coming off AccuLynx or another platform.
Does OptimizeIt integrate with EagleView and Hover for aerial roof measurements?
EagleView and Hover are both on the integration roadmap. We are not going to pretend the native integration ships today on the /roofing page when it doesn't, because that's the kind of soft claim that loses credibility once you're three weeks into the trial. Here's the actual state as of June 2026. EagleView. Workflow integration is live in the sense that you can attach an EagleView PremiumReport ($15-$87 depending on tier) to a job, pull the measurements into the AI photo quote line items, and track report cost against job margin. Direct API pull (where you order the report from inside OptimizeIt and it comes back into the job record automatically) is on the Q3 2026 roadmap. Until that ships, your team orders the report on eagleview.com, downloads the PDF, and uploads it to the job in OptimizeIt where the measurements get parsed into the quote. Hover. Similar shape. You can attach Hover's 3D model and measurement PDF to a job today. Direct API integration where Hover measurements feed the estimate without manual entry is on the same roadmap window. GAF QuickMeasure. Same workflow attachment as EagleView and Hover, no direct API yet. If your shop is doing 50+ storm jobs a month and your estimators live in EagleView order forms all day, the manual attachment workflow will feel slower than what AccuLynx or JobNimbus give you with their native API pulls. We're transparent about that. For shops doing 5-25 measured jobs a month where the bottleneck is supplement tracking, crew dispatch, or after-hours lead capture rather than measurement order speed, OptimizeIt's workflow is competitive today and gets faster when the API integrations ship in Q3. The 14-day free trial includes white-glove migration. If EagleView API integration is a hard gate for you, ask us during the demo and we'll tell you the current ship date rather than wave at the roadmap.
