    Certified Weight Ticket

    A scale receipt proving the actual weight of a shipment, required by FMCSA on non-hourly interstate moves.

    For weight-based (non-binding) interstate moves the carrier must produce a certified weight ticket from a scale registered with the National Type Evaluation Program. Required tickets: tare (empty), gross (loaded). The difference is the billable net weight.
