Who is each for
We tell you when AccuLynx is the right call. Most platform decisions come down to fit, not features.
Pick AccuLynx if you...
- β’Run a residential roofing business with 200+ jobs per year and most revenue from insurance restoration
- β’Want the most mature material-supplier ordering workflow in the industry (ABC Supply, SRS Distribution, QXO all native)
- β’Need an EagleView and GAF QuickMeasure integration that has been refined over a decade of roofing-specific use
- β’Have an office team that lives in the desktop product and is comfortable with a learning curve
- β’Want a roofing-specific pricebook and supplement workflow hardened by 17 years of roofing-only focus
- β’Are comfortable with per-user pricing as your team grows and with a quote-based sales process
Pick OptimizeIt if you...
- Run a $0-$5M roofing business and also do siding, gutters, windows, or other exterior trades
- Want the AI Voice Agent answering 2am storm calls and booking estimates on Saturday, not a voicemail
- Prefer published plan pricing you can forecast as you hire
- Want to be live this week, not next quarter
- Want pricing published on the website, not a "Get Pricing" form
- Are not yet running deep Xactimate-supplement workflows that require an incumbent's depth
Run both if...
This is rare. AccuLynx and OptimizeIt both serve roofing, so running them in parallel only makes sense if you have a multi-trade operation where the roofing arm is mature enough to justify AccuLynx's depth ($2M+ insurance-restoration revenue) and a separate exterior-trades arm (siding, gutters, painting) needs a different operating system. In practice, most operators pick one.

How OptimizeIt is different from AccuLynx
Built by an operator, not a software founder
OptimizeIt was built by Lucas Cannon, who ran 5 Star Moving in El Cerrito, California for 15 years before founding the company. The product was shaped by his daily problem set as a service operator: customers calling at 7pm, photo-based quote requests that took 45 minutes to turn around, dispatch boards that had to be rebuilt every time a job ran long, and CRM software that was built for software buyers, not service operators.
Three principles came out of that experience that shape every product decision:
- 1.The AI has to actually do work, not just summarize work.Photo-to-quote means the customer's photos become a priced quote in under 60 seconds, with a deposit link, without a human typing a quote out. The 24/7 voice agent answers calls overnight and books the job; it does not just transcribe a voicemail.
- 2.Pricing has to be legible. The published price is the price. No per-tech tax that compounds during hiring. No multi-year contract that locks in last year's product.
- 3.Trade packs ship configured, not configurable. When a roofing operator signs up, their intake form, pricing rules, AI prompts, and reports are already calibrated for roofing. They do not spend 60 days configuring software before getting value out of it.

How is OptimizeIt's pricing different from AccuLynx's?+
OptimizeIt publishes plan pricing on optimizeit.ai/pricing: Starter at $39/mo annual ($49 monthly), Core at $79 annual ($99 monthly), Plus at $159 annual ($199 monthly) with the phone system included, and Pro at $239 annual ($299 monthly) with the 24/7 AI Voice Agent included. Extra seats $25/mo flat. AccuLynx publishes one entry tier ($250/mo Essential, per acculynx.com/pricing) and routes other inquiries through a "Get Pricing" form. Per-user pricing is reported by third-party sources at $55/user Essentials, $70/user Professional, $85/user Elite (Field Service Guide, ITQlick).
Does OptimizeIt have native Xactimate integration?+
OptimizeIt offers Xactimate-aligned quoting on the /roofing page. Native two-way Xactimate sync is on the 2026 roadmap. If your business is heavily Xactimate-supplement-dependent today and you cannot work without native ESX import-export, OptimizeIt is probably not the right fit yet. AccuLynx also lacks native Xactimate integration as of June 2026 per Capterra Xactimate alternatives data.
Does OptimizeIt integrate with EagleView and GAF QuickMeasure?+
EagleView integration is on the OptimizeIt 2026 roadmap. AccuLynx has native EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, Hover, RoofSnap, and RoofScope integrations live today per acculynx.com/integrations. If aerial-measurement integration is a day-one requirement, AccuLynx is the more mature choice today.
Can I migrate my data from AccuLynx to OptimizeIt?+
OptimizeIt offers free white-glove migration on all paid plans. CSV export-to-import is supported for any AccuLynx data your team can export. 14-day free trial gives you time to validate that the migration is clean before committing. If your AccuLynx instance has years of supplement history and custom workflow automations, plan for a longer migration; we will tell you honestly during onboarding what we can move and what will need rebuilding.
What if I outgrow OptimizeIt?+
If your roofing operation grows past $5M revenue with heavy insurance-restoration concentration, AccuLynx's supplier-integration depth and supplement workflow are worth re-evaluating. ServiceTitan is the other natural upmarket move for multi-location roofing operations with $10M+ revenue. We are not trying to be the only platform you ever use; we are trying to be the right platform for your current scale.
How long is implementation?+
OptimizeIt onboarding is self-serve. Most operators are live within 48 hours of signing up, with the roofing pack configured day-one. AccuLynx implementation runs weeks with reported setup fees of $500-$1,000, which reflects the depth of configuration their platform supports.
Who is OptimizeIt NOT a fit for?+
Three roofing operator profiles we are honest about:
-
Xactimate-dependent storm restoration shops. If your operation runs $1M+ a year through insurance supplements and you cannot work without native ESX import-export, OptimizeIt is not yet the right fit.
-
AccuLynx-trained teams with 5+ years of workflow muscle memory. If your office team has built their entire workflow inside AccuLynx and the per-user math is tolerable, there is no business case for switching.
-
Roofing operators who need the deepest supplier-ordering depth in the category. AccuLynx's ABC Supply, SRS, and QXO integrations are the hardest-to-replicate moat in the vertical.
If any of those describe you, AccuLynx is the right call.
